![]() ![]() Second, I don't really want veggies in my orange chicken - that just doesn't seem right for this dish (again, you could pick these out if you are patient enough for that kind of thing). This left it more mushy than all the others. First, it's the only one where the sauce is mixed in with the chicken right out of the bag, so you can't crisp up the chicken in the air fryer (well maybe you can if you pick out the frozen sauce bits from the frozen chicken bits). The sauce was on the acidic side though which is why the rest of the fam took some points off.Į = PF Changs (fifth place): We liked this one the least. I liked the texture of the chicken and the more batter-like coating compared to the breaded texture of the Crazy Cuisine. Also there were lots of tiny bits of chicken that got tough in the air fryer in the time it took to cook the larger pieces.ĭ = Kahiki (third place): We were split on this one. ![]() ![]() Good texture and the sauce was pretty good as well, but again just mainly sweet and not enough orange flavor. We would not do this one again.Ĭ = Foster Farms (second place): This was the second best in our opinion. The chicken was also a little mushy, and the sauce was too orange, like Buffalo sauce. If we did this one again, I'd add some fresh orange zest to give it more orange flavor like the sauce from the PF Changs.ī = Innovasian (fourth place): This one was more acidic than the others, and there was way too much sauce for the amount of chicken you get. Use the letters to match up to the picturesĪ = Crazy Cuisine (first place): This one was the stand out favorite in my house and we all agreed it was the most like a real American Chinese restaurant, but still kind of a mediocre one. ![]()
